Review of trades of the Owl Smart Levels strategy for the week from August 7 to 11, 2023 – My Trading – 13 August 2023

Today I present you an overview of trades made using the Owl strategy – smart levels for the EURUSD, GBPUSD and AUDUSD currency pairs for the week from August 7 to 11, 2023. There were opened in total 4 trades on each currency pair.

EURUSD review

Most of Monday and all day Wednesday the market was in the dead zone. The Owl Smart Levels indicator gave the first signal to open a trade on EURUSD, for buying, only on Thursday in the middle of the day.

The trade was closed at StopLoss, and the indicator did not have time to give a warning signal on this strong price jump in both directions.

Unfortunately, there were no other trades on the asset.

GBPUSD review

On Monday morning a Sell trade was opened on GBPUSD.

The signal to close it came simultaneously with the crossing of the StopLoss line, and the trade was closed with a loss. As well as on EURUSD, there was the only one trade on the asset with the same result of minus 15$.

AUDUSD review

There were two trades on AUDUSD, for buying and for selling.

The Owl Smart Levels indicator signaled the need to close the trade in advance, and it was closed with a small profit.

The next, the last trade of the last trading week was profitable as well.

The trade remained open on Friday evening and it had to be closed in manual mode according to the rules of trading on the Owl Smart Levels system, without allowing the position to be moved.

Results:

So, there were 4 trades during the last trading week and two of them were profitable. The profitability of profitable trades did not exceed the amount of unprofitable ones this time, so the final table looks rather modest.

We will see how the trading will look like and how the market will behave, as well as what trades Owl Smart Levels will offer us to open on Monday, during the upcoming trading week.
